The National Security Agency is under fire in a new way, as Sen. Rand
Paul (R-Ky.) spearheads a class-action lawsuit that claims the secretive
spy agency violated Americans' constitutional rights with its bulk
metadata collection programs. "We think everybody in America who has a
cell phone would be eligible for this class-action suit," Paul said. In
the meantime, the NSA is also facing questions from Sen. Bernie Sanders
(I-Vt.) as to whether they are spying on members of Congress the way
they are spying on world leaders. RT's Meghan Lopez discusses the latest
NSA developments with Rachel Levinson-Waldman, counsel to the Brennan
Center's Liberty and National Security Program.
