The new year brings new leaks from National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden. The NSA is seeking to build a quantum supercomputer that could crack most types of encryption on the Internet, according to an article by the Washington Post. The project is part of an $80 million research program called "Penetrating Hard Targets." Experts believe a fully functional quantum computer could be built within 10 years.
