Several days have passed since an ice storm hit central and Atlantic
Canada. And thousands of households still remain without heat and light
in Ontario and New Brunswick, with authorities struggling to restore
power.
Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne also said crews from
outside Toronto were called in to help clean up the city after the
storm. There are now fears that warming temperatures and gusty winds
could cause fresh power outages in Toronto in the coming days. That's
because melting ice and tree branches may fall on power lines.
