The unions that "negotiated" with elected officials for these pensions
were really just buying and selling power with OUR money. I do not like
it when any of the employees loose the money they believed would be
there when they retired but, most of the outrageous packages included
MANY benefits that you and I don't get as well as what was called a
"living wage". Just think of how many of these people get to retire in
their 50's and get up to 100% of their government salaries as pensions
with full medical insurance paid in full.
