In the aftermath of the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan, the
Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant was crippled and went into
meltdown. Ever since there has been a long line of errors and alleged
cover ups that have tried to mask the scale of the crisis. The latest
scandal to be uncovered though is the exploitation of Japan's homeless
population as workers in the contaminated zone. Homeless people have
been recruited throughout the country by criminal gangs seeking to make a
quick buck.
