The IMF and Treasury are warning that a continued shutdown puts the economy into jeopardy of slowing down and stalling. The President is pushing this shutdown to the very end and we are getting close to the X date. If the Government does default the President has the authorization to declare a national emergency and take full control of the Government will not need the approval of congress at this point. The economy is on the brink of collapse and it seems we are moving towards martial law.
