Fusion has taken two major leaps forward according to new papers.
Firstly, scientists at the National Ignition Facility in California
have, for the first time, managed to get more energy out of a Fusion
reaction than they put in. Secondly, a team at the Ecole Polytechnique
in France have found an improved method of fusing boron and hydrogen,
vastly more powerful than previous experiments and creating a more
easily harvested energy.
