The world has been focusing on chemical weapons in Syria. But the US
still has 2,700 tons stockpiled, waiting for disposal. In the meantime,
storage depots have reported leaks, as late as this summer, of chemical
weapons as dangerous as mustard gas. Officials say the safe disposal of
chemical weapons takes time and money, but the fact remains: while the
US debates Syrian chemical weapons, it is sitting on a pile of them
