Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) wants the White House to call off the
congressional vote that would potentially authorize strikes against
Syria. He told Neil Cavuto on Your World, "I guess my problem is today
on the anniversary of 9/11, we ought to remember who attacked us -- Al
Qaeda."
The senator said it's difficult to isolate which rebel
groups are associated with Al Qaeda in Syria. Referencing the war in
Afghanistan, he said, "[They] say I love America until you turn around
and they shoot you in the back. [...] So when people line up in Syria
and say please give me a stinger missile, [...] can we trust them?"
