The Senate Foreign Relations Commitee is mainly Republicans like John McCain and Lindsey Graham. It's not the Congress. Please contact your senators and ask them to vote against the strike. Even if everyone agrees to strike Syria, bombing the Earth for 60-90 days will not be good. We already have Fukuishima spilling nuclear waste into the ocean because of an earthquake.
