BREAKING: San Francisco Mayor Press Conference about Boeing 777 Asiana Airline Crash

San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee on plane crash: This is still a fluid and active scene; not everyone accounted for.
Asiana Flight 214 from Seoul was attempting to land at San Francisco International Airport when it crashed.
SAN FRANCISCO -- An Asiana Airlines flight from Seoul crashed on landing at San Francisco's airport Saturday, killing two people and forcing passengers to escape the aircraft using inflatable emergency exit slides. .

Fire Chief Joanne Hayes-White said two people were killed. Mayor Edwin Lee said not all passengers had been accounted for.

Hayes-White said at least 48 people had been hospitalized. San Francisco General Hospital spokeswoman Rachael Kagen said 10 people, two of them children, were being treated there for critical injuries.

  1. This is a TRAGEDY, of course, but do you have to have 12 reports along the same line as this story? A bit much, wouldn't you say?
