Markets Await The Fed Minutes And Bernanke : All Eyes On The Fed - Bernanke Speaks On Central Bank's Record -
Stuart Varney ,
This morning, the S&P 500 Index e-mini futures (ES-U3) are trading higher by 0.25 points to 1645.75 per contract. Traders and investors are eagerly awaiting the FOMC minutes this afternoon in order to hear any clue that the Federal Reserve will begin tapering its $85 billion a month QE-3 program. Later after the closing bell, the Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke will be giving a speech in Boston. He will also be holding a Q&A session after the speech, so everyone will be waiting to hear what he says about tapering. This could be a market moving event.
