whoever runs this blog. Thank you for that. I know many people making about $55,000 a year in New York City and they are struggling. After taxes, all taxes including sales tax, etc.. it's hard. Thank god for cans of tuna and ramen noodles.
I myself skip 2 meals a day on about $80,000 because of the high tobacco taxes taking about $10,000 a year from me here in NYC. I am taxed if you include everything about 60%, living on about $38,000 cash a year in NYC. Luckilly I am single and can live a semi comfortable life, have kids and that's it no comfort. You get into debt and you become a slave to debt and bankers.
