Jefferson Davis, who served as Confederate president during the Civil War. Included: Davis's military service in the Mexican War; his conflicts with the Government over states' rights.
To call Jefferson Davis a "traitor" is to ONLY have a sophomoric understand of American History and the facts surrounding the Civil War; "Slavery" is generally, but wrongly, assigned the majority reason for the Civil War when in fact the economy and State's Rights were the "fuse" that ignited the Fort Sumpter war commencement.
