The toll would be far higher on a warm day, when more people — often huge crowds of people — are at the beach or in the water.

Feds Predicts APOCALYPTIC Earthquake to Completely Wipe Out Major Cities in Pacific Northwest
If you live west of I-5 in the Pacific NorthWest, you might want to consider moving after reading this article in the New Yorker, or watching Shep Smith explain it with charts, graphs, and a scientist on set. Basically, the Federal government is predicting the big one, a 9.2 earthquake in the Cascadia subduction zone that sits off the coast of the Pacific Northwest. And they say it’s definitely going to happen, it’s just a matter of when.
According to Shep, FEMA is operating under the assumption that every city that sits to the west of Interstate-5, which includes Seattle, Portland, Tacoma, Olympia, Salem, and Eugene, will be wiped out. The New Yorker says the Cascadia earthquake will be the “worst natural disaster in the history of North America” with predictions of over 13,000 people dying and close to 30,000 injured.

OBAMA RETURNS TO KENYA - Reunites With Father's Family in Kenya
President Barack Obama struck a personal note as he returned to his father's homeland Kenya this weekend, openly embracing his extended family during his first visit as commander and chief.
"There's a reason why my name is Barack Hussein Obama," he said on Saturday at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Nairobi on Saturday. "My father came from these parts and I have family and relatives here, and in my visits over the years walking the streets of Nairobi I've come to know the warmth and spirit of the Kenyan people."
Obama fulfilled the hopes of millions of Kenyans when he visited Kenya Friday. It is the first such visit by a sitting president, and a long sought visit by a country that considers him a local son. "I don't think that Kenyans think of Obama as African-American. They think of him as Kenyan-American," said EJ Hogendoorn, deputy program director for Africa at the International Crisis Group. President Obama late Saturday joked about the controversy surrounding former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton’s use of a private email account during a white-tie dinner in Washington, D.C.
According to a White House pool report, Obama told guests at the Gridiron Club dinner that he was once known as the young, tech-savvy candidate.

In the first half, retired investigative researcher Bob Fletcher talked about the latest evidence for the rogue 'Planet X,' and how underground cities and hideouts have been developed for the elite to seek refuge. He believes that missing billions or even trillions from the Federal Reserve could be connected to the creation of hundreds of underground survival locations. Other nations in addition to the US, such as Russia and China have also been building such facilities. According to his research, Planet X or Nibiru was first discovered in the 1980s, and the Pope and the Vatican are aware of its nearing arrival.
The Jade Helm exercise is a trial run for martial law that is coming, probably a few months before Planet X is visible, so that the population can be controlled in advance of its arrival, Fletcher contended. The extraordinary weather, increased volcanic activity, and other global changes are associated with Planet X growing closer, he commented. As Planet X makes it closest approach (possibly in March of 2016, he suggested), the earth will reel from devastating tsunamis and other cataclysms, he warned. However, Fletcher has learned that the Defense Dept. and NASA may be working on a secret plan to deflect the planet, using a fleet of remote controlled space planes with particle beam/directed energy technology.

In the latter half, electrical engineer Larry Arnold, who combines his scientific background with the world of Forteana and weird events, discussed his pioneering research into spontaneous human combustion (SHC), and the various cases of people who have inexplicably burst into flames. He defined SHC as "the smoking, blistering, or burning of a person in the absence of a known, identifiable nearby burn agent." In one incident from 1828, a physician was actually a witness to the phenomenon, when he was called to a blacksmith's shop and observed the victim standing in a silver-colored flame. Arnold estimates that in fatal cases this kind of flash fire may get as hot as 9,000 degrees F, enough to instantaneously burn off a body's water content. One of the most baffling aspects to SHC is the denial of mainstream fire science and medical communities to look honestly at the actual evidence for these inexplicable cases, he remarked. Instead, they offer prosaic explanations related to drinking alcohol and smoking.
