Pelton also touched on such locations as Libya, Syria, and Dubai, and topics including America's manufacture and exporting of military weapons, his search for Kony in Africa, and 9-11 conspiracy theories (he doesn't

In the latter half, Professor Todd Murphy addressed his extensive studies in the neuroscience of spirituality including near death experience, reincarnation, psychic skills and how religious experiences can be induced in a laboratory setting. The scientific community assumes that everything we experience comes from the brain but "when that belief breaks down, that is where we will find the point that mind is more than brain, where some kind of spirit that has no physical basis actually informs our consciousness and helps us to be aware," he commented.
Regarding reincarnation, Murphy believes the process does exist, but sees it from an evolutionary perspective, in which it serves to adapt people to new social environments in their successive lives. He spoke of his work with cognitive neuroscience researcher Dr. Michael Persinger, who demonstrated that the sense of God and spiritual experiences can be created by stimulating certain parts of the brain. Persinger's has cited two senses of self in the human brain-- the left side has the language center, and the right side is the silent self. "What I think is happening is that when we're experiencing God, an angel, a non-physical being, a demon... [or] a sensed presence...the you that is on the left side of the brain and the you on the right side of the brain are not in communication the way they normally are...they've fallen out of phase, and the sense of self on the right side of the brain emerges into our awareness as a prevalence outside of ourselves," Murphy outlined.

A central bank may introduce new money into the economy (termed 'expansionary monetary policy') by purchasing financial assets or lending money to financial institutions. Commercial bank lending then multiplies this base money through fractional reserve banking, which expands the total of broad money (cash plus demand deposits).
Quantitative easing involves the creation of a significant amount of new base money by a central bank by the buying of assets that it usually does not buy. Usually, a central bank will conduct open market operations by buying short-term government bonds or foreign currency. However, during a financial crisis, the central bank may buy other types of financial assets as well. The central bank may buy long-term government bonds, company bonds, asset backed securities, stocks, or even extend commercial loans. The intent is to stimulate the economy by increasing liquidity and promoting bank lending, even when interest rates cannot be pushed any lower.

Before the winner of the Brazil World Cup has even been decided, the 2022 event is facing fresh threats. And this time, it's not down to construction delays or street protests, it's ambitious terrorists. Gold rose to a six-month high on Thursday as fears of economic slowdown in China and lingering worries about Russia's standoff with Ukraine over Crimea dampened demand for riskier assets and boosted bullion's appeal.
U.S. equities and copper pries tumbled after data showed China's economy slowed markedly in the first two months of the year. Worries over China's first bond default and weak export data earlier in the week have also stoked concerns about the health of the world's second-largest economy.
Gold was also underpinned after Russia launched military exercises near its border with Ukraine, showing no sign of backing down in its plans to annex its neighbor's Crimea region.
Within the first week of 2014 U.K.'s Royal Mint announced they had completely sold out of sovereign gold coins. On the other side of the pond, the U.S. Mint reports that the sale of silver coins hit an all-time high at the end of 2013, proving that demand for physical precious metals has not abated.
Gold prices will likely explode in the future because current prices are too low for mines to operate, lowering the supply.
Yet, as investors the world over buy up as much physical gold as they can get their hands on, the companies that produce the gold have seen their stock prices decimated. Whether it's the work of the shadow banking system or because Wall Street has convinced Main Street to dump their shares, precious metals have seen a significant drop from their historical highs just a couple years ago.
The subject video covers an undercovered story on the missing German gold. Back in the 1950′s Germany, along with several other nations sent their gold to the U.S. Federal Reserve. Several months ago, Germany asked that some of their gold be returned. The Fed refused. Germany then asked to inspect the gold. Again the Fed refused.
So what would you think? I would think they don't have it. I would suspect they stole it. Of course those in Germany and other nations aren't stupid. If there are any shenanigans going on, some in positions of power in those nations have to be in on it. Now, with at least 20 years of manipulation in the gold and silver markets, the chickens are coming home to roost. You can't do this forever and you can't keep it a secret forever.
What have we done: after a series of reports in late 2012 in which we showed, with no ambiguity, that not only might the Bundesbank's offshore held gold be severely "diluted" (follow our 2012 exposes on German gold here, here, here, and here), but that on at least one occassion, the Fed and the Bank of England conspired against the Buba in returning subpar quality gold, the Bundesbank shocked everyone in early January 2013 when it announced it would repatriate 300 tons of gold helt in New York and all of its 374 tons of gold held in Paris. But convincing the Bundebsbank to demand delivery was peanuts compared to changing the tune of the Financial Times -- that bastion of fiat "money", and where the word gold is mocked and ridiculed, and those who see the daily improprieties in the gold market as nothing but "conspiracy theorists" -- to say the magic words: "Learn from Buba and demand delivery for true price of gold", adding that "one day the ties that bind this pixelated gold may break, with potentially catastrophic results."

RED ALERT -- ISIS steals 40 kg of nuclear materials from Mosul university
Terrorist groups have gained control of nuclear materials used for scientific research at a university in northern Iraq. Iraq's ambassador to the UN Mohamed Ali Alhakim says approximately forty kilograms of uranium has been stolen from Mosul University. Alhakim has pleaded for help from the U-N in a letter directed to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. He says it is feared that the stolen materials could be smuggled out of Iraq. Few economic analysts truly understand the underlying fundamentals of the global economy and their impact on the workings of the world. Fewer still are willing to share that knowledge with the general public and advise others on how to shield themselves against a destabilization of the system as we have come to know it.
For now, we benefit from a trade deficit by trading all of our worthless U.S. dollars to foreign countries for tangible products. But eventually these countries will no longer demand the dollar, which will then trigger its collapse.
Bud Conrad of Casey Research is one of those who does, and in the interview below with Future Money Trends he discusses the end result of the manipulations currently being executed by our government, central banks, and financial institutions. The complex of potential future problems will be based on the same problems that caused the 2008 downturn... too much government debt, too much private debt and a collapse of that debt when it can't be paid, creating a new economic crisis. It will implode and will issue a new currency to replace the dollar. That will destroy an awful lot of debts.
It will give the government a new leg, and if they can base it on something like gold it will, both, be very bullish for gold and create new confidence. If they create a new paper system like the old paper system it'll die just like a Banana republic [like] Argentina about every ten years later. With that... I am saying in my lifetime we'll see the demise of the dollar and certainly before that we'll see gold at $10,000 an ounce.
Since 2006, the US dollar has experienced a one-quarter to one-third drop in value to the Chinese yuan, depending on the choice of base.
Now China is going to let the dollar decline further in value. China also says it is considering undermining the petrodollar by pricing oil futures on the Shanghai Futures Exchange in yuan. This on top of the growing avoidance of the dollar to settle trade imbalances means that the dollar's role as reserve currency is coming to an end, which means the termination of the US as financial bully and financial imperialist. This blow to the dollar in addition to the blows delivered by jobs offshoring and the uncovered bets in the gambling casino created by financial deregulation means that the US economy as we knew it is coming to an end.
As the dollar enters its death throes, the lawless Federal Reserve and the Wall Street criminals will increase their shorting of gold in the paper futures market, thereby driving the remnants of the West's gold into Asian hands.

Breaking News -- ISIS seizes Nuclear Materials from a university In Northern Iraq 7/9/14
Iraq says "terrorist groups" have seized nuclear materials used for scientific research at a university in the country's north. Iraq's UN envoy has appealed for help to "stave off the threat of their use by terrorists in Iraq or abroad."
According to Iraq's UN ambassador, Mohamed Ali Alhakim, about 40 kilograms of uranium compounds were kept at Mosul University. He added that such materials "can be used in manufacturing weapons of mass destruction."
"Terrorist groups have seized control of nuclear material at the sites that came out of the control of the state," Alhakim told UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in the July 8 letter obtained by Reuters on Wednesday.
Alhakim warned that the materials could be smuggled out of Iraq.
The stolen materials are not believed to be enriched uranium, which would make it difficult for them to be made into weapons, a government source told Reuters.
"The Republic of Iraq is notifying the international community of these dangerous developments and asking for help and the needed support to stave off the threat of their use by terrorists in Iraq or abroad," Alhakim said in a letter.
Iraq acceded to the Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material on Monday, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Members of the convention agree to protect nuclear facilities and material to be used for peaceful domestic use, storage, and transport.
"It also provides for expanded cooperation between and among states regarding rapid measures to locate and recover stolen or smuggled nuclear material, mitigate any radiological consequences of sabotage, and prevent and combat related offences," the IAEA stated.
The report comes just one day after Iraq told the UN that insurgents took control of a former chemical weapons facility located north of Baghdad. Alhakim said in a letter to the UN that "armed terrorist groups" took over the Muthanna complex on June 11. The facility holds the remnants of a former chemical weapons program.
In his letter to the UN chief, which was made public on Tuesday, Alhakim also pleaded for help from the international community. "The Government of Iraq requests the States Members of the United Nations to understand the current inability of Iraq, owing to the deterioration of the security situation, to fulfill its obligations to destroy chemical weapons," he said.

The rapid gains by Sunni insurgents led by the Islamic State group -- formerly known as the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant -- have allowed them to declare the territory in Iraq and Syria under their control, to be a new Islamic state, or caliphate.
