Assuming 3.0 million college grads, 1.0 million high school grads, 600,000 legal immigrants and 400,000 illegal immigrants will enter the workforce that is roughly 5.0 million new workers. We only created 2.379 million jobs over the last 12 months or about half what is needed to keep unemployment.

The economy needs to create TWICE as many jobs in order to accommodate the increase in the working-age population. That is not likely to happen and the long term unemployment is going to decline slowly as more workers enter the job market.

Pedro Schwartz on the creation of money out of thin air

GoldMoney's James Turk interviews Prof. Pedro Schwartz who is the president of the Economic and Social Council of Madrid. They talk about bank regulation, the creation of money out of thin air and the beauty of the free market system.

They discuss how banks have expanded despite of government regulation which Schwartz in large attributes to the granted privilege of fractional reserve lending. Using this procedure a bank can create loans above the actual amount of deposits at hand and therefore create new money. This also leads to fragility in the banking system and to boom and bust cycles. Schwartz argues for a leaner and more effective regulation of financial markets as the current regulation has not worked in regards to the financial crisis.

They talk about the "tennis" between the Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank when it comes to the creating money out of thin air. Schwartz states that the ECB is disregarding the rules that were aimed to guard it from being influenced by political pressure. Despite the opposition of the German Bundesbank they are buying government bonds. This is equal to digital money printing and Schwartz scents that it is not being done for monetary policy, but for the stimulation of the economy which goes beyond the original remit of the bank.

However despite the injections of new liquidity by the ECB Europe is still in recession, because interbank lending has dried up. That means that banks are parking much of the liquidity back at the ECB. The big question will be what will happen to inflation once the economy starts to pick up again and those funds find their way into the real economy. Schwartz also questions whether it is a productive business when banks can make a profit by borrowing money from the ECB at 1% interest and then turning around to buy government bond which yield 5% or 6%.

A serious inflationary disaster will only be prevented if governments will succeed in reducing their deficits and stop selling bonds. Schwartz states that cutting government spending is the only viable solution to the problem. To accomplish this there has to be a change in social mentality so that people recognize that nothing is free and that the government sector has to shrink. In the end the market is the most efficient mechanism of allocating resources according to the wants and needs of people.

The two small countries - Moldova has a population of just over 3.5 million and Georgia 4.5 million - see the signing of an association agreement as the crucial step towards mainstream Europe, leading to eventual membership of the powerful EU trading bloc. Freemasonry and the Founding Fathers of America

Masonic conspiracy theories are conspiracy theories involving Freemasonry; hundreds of such conspiracy theories have been described since the late 18th century. Generally, these theories fall into three distinct categories: political (usually involving allegations of control of government, particularly in the United States and the United Kingdom), religious (usually involving allegations of anti-Christian or Satanic beliefs or practices), and cultural (usually involving popular entertainment). That Freemasonry is its own religion, requires belief in a unique Masonic "god", and that belief in this Masonic "god" is contrary to the teachings of various mainstream religions (although usually noted in terms of being specifically contrary to Christian belief)

That the 33rd degree of the Scottish Rite is more than an honorary degree, coupled with the belief that most Freemasons are unaware of hidden or secretive ruling bodies within their organization that govern them, conduct occult ritual, or control various positions of governmental power

That there is a centralized worldwide body that controls all Masonic Grand Lodges, and thus, all of Freemasonry worldwide acts in a unified manner

Military Police used tear gas, rubber bullets, and stun grenades on protesters during a metro strike in Sao Paulo on Friday morning, June 6, local media reported.

Strong images were released by Media Ninja, an independent media organization which has accompanied popular protests in Brazil since the outbreak of demonstrations during the Confederations Cup last year.

In the video, protesters were approached by Military Policemen and threatened with guns, they then chased demonstrators out of the space with batons.

Subway workers in Sao Paulo were on Saturday to stage the third day of a strike that has brought chaos to the Brazilian city due to host the World Cup opener, as Fifa's vice-president urged authorities to make sure fans could get to the match.

Jim Boyce told the Estado de Sao Paulo newspaper that the protests could cause difficulties for those trying to attend Thursday's opening match.

A public transport strike has caused traffic chaos in Brazil's largest city, Sao Paulo, a week before it hosts the opening match of the World Cup.

Half of all underground stations were closed as transport workers walked out, demanding a 10% pay rise.

Angry commuters stormed the Itaquera station, nearest the stadium where Brazil will play Croatia on 12 June.

Police and other public sector workers say they will also strike in the next few weeks if their demands are not met.

This is the latest setback in Brazil's preparations for the World Cup, which have been criticised by the tournament's global organisers.

But Fifa President Sepp Blatter has called on the Brazilian people to do all they can to support the World Cup.

"We at Fifa, we are confident. It will be a celebration," Mr Blatter told reporters as he arrived in Sao Paulo amid the traffic chaos.

Digital Currency "Will End Corruption" Claims Report - Mark of the Beast is Near

What if currency wasn't something that exchanged hands physically, but moved instantaneously between networks, countries, and continents? What if it wasn't regulated by a government, system of banks, or any entity at all? And, what if it was completely open source?

This disruption of what we view as currency isn't just theory, it is already a $1.5 billion dollar movement. Leading the charge is Bitcoin. The spike in consumer interest has also lead to new currency exchange systems like Mt.
