The entire ObamaCare government shutdown thing is a catastrophe. There is no question ObamaCare is not ready to be rolled out. All the evidence says that. If the president would simply admit it and delay the individual mandate for a year the impasse would be solved. But Mr. Obama is too stubborn to do that and Americans are starting to catch on.

The emails by Ms. Ingram and other IRS officials responded to White House questions about rules relating to filing requirements for religious schools. The questions stemmed from lawsuits by several of the religious schools, which were objecting to a mandate to cover contraception in the Obama administration's health-care overhaul. The email discussions don't appear to involve non-public information from the schools' returns.

The "coming economic collapse" has already been happening. You see, the truth is that the economic collapse is not a single event. It has already started, it is happening right now, and it will accelerate during the years ahead. The statistics in this article show very clearly that the U.S. economy has fallen dramatically over the past ten years or so. Unfortunately, there are lots of mockers out there that love to mock the idea of an economic collapse even though one is happening right in front of our eyes. "An economic collapse is never going to happen. We can consume far more wealth than we produce forever. We can pile up gigantic mountains of debt forever. There is no way that the party is over. That sounds absolutely ridiculous, but "economists" and "journalists" actually write things that reflect these kinds of sentiments every single day.

They do not seem alarmed about the fact that our national debt is nearly 17 times larger than it was 30 years ago. They do not seem alarmed about the fact that the total amount of debt in our country is more than 28 times larger than it was 40 years ago. They do not seem alarmed about the fact that our economic infrastructure is being absolutely gutted and we are steadily becoming poorer as a nation.

They just think that the magic formula of print, borrow, spend and consume can go on indefinitely.

Unfortunately, the truth is that a massive economic disaster has already started to unfold. We inherited the greatest economic machine in the history of the world, but we totally wrecked it. We have been able to live far, far beyond our means for the last couple of decades thanks to the greatest debt bubble in the history of the planet, but now that debt bubble is getting ready to burst.

Anyone with half a brain should be able to see what is coming. Just open your eyes and look at the facts. The following are 40 stats that prove the U.S. economy has already been collapsing over the past decade...

The U.S. Supreme Court appears poised to strike down most of the remaining limits on massive spending by wealthy donors on political campaigns. On Tuesday, justices heard arguments in McCutcheon v. Federal Election Commission, which has been referred to as "the next Citizens United." Republican leaders and wealthy GOP donor Shaun McCutcheon wants the Supreme Court to
throw out aggregate limits on individual contributions in a single two-year cycle, saying they violate free speech. "If these advocate limitations go down, 500 people will control American democracy. It would be 'government for the 500 people,' not for anybody else -- and thats the risk," says Burt Neuborne, law professor and founding legal director of the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University Law School. On Tuesday, Chief Justice John Roberts indicated he is prepared to strike down caps on donations to individual candidates, but perhaps not on donations to political committees. Justice Antonin Scalia appears to be set to back the lifting of all limits. "The Scalia side says, 'Look if you're rich, you're entitled to have as much influence as you can buy,'" Neuborne says. "And the Scalia side has won 5-to-4 consistently in recent years."

"It's a lesson learned from 9/11. We had good regional contact with the FBI Washington office, and that really helped after the attack on the Pentagon."

Ruwe is the Incident commander at the Lorton Training site, Lorton Va., and said the training site will be very busy over the next few days.

More than 38 participating agencies from DOD and Capital region response agencies will perform mock mass casualty rescues, Defense Support to civil agency technical rescues and law enforcement tactical responses. The goal of the exercise is to ensure government agencies at every level are prepared to coordinate action to protect the public in the event of an actual disaster in the National Capital Region.

EXPOSED: U.S. DEBT CEILING A HUGE LIE

The White House endorsed a short debt-limit increase with no policy conditions attached, signaling potential support for House Republicans' plan for a monthlong reprieve from a default.

The proposal today by House Speaker John Boehner wouldn't end the 10-day-old partial shutdown of the federal government. The plan would push the lapse of U.S. borrowing authority to Nov. 22 from Oct. 17.

Jay Carney, the White House press secretary, said today that President Barack Obama would support a short increase in the U.S. debt limit with no "partisan strings attached," though he prefers a longer extension. House Republicans haven't specified what they plan to tie to the measure and Carney said the White House would need to see a bill before accepting it.

"The president is happy that cooler heads at least seem to be prevailing in the House, that there at least seems to be a recognition that default is not an option," Carney said.

Donald Trump to Piers Morgan: 'You Could Cry' at How Weak U.S. Is Right Now

10/10/13 - Donald Trump joined Piers Morgan on Thursday night to take on the government shutdown and debt ceiling. Trump admitted he's very concerned about the country defaulting, but admitted it's "uncharted territory" for the country so no one really knows what's going to happen. Morgan opened by asking Trump if he was in charge of Washington, "How many times would you have been saying you're fired?" Trump said it would have come up a lot, telling Morgan that Obama is "not leading" as just needs to "make deals for the good of the country."

But he also had some tough words for the Republicans. Trump said they're not unified, and "if the Republicans stuck together, they have cards like you wouldn't believe." He railed against the rising debt and admitted to Morgan he wouldn't necessarily feel "comfortable" about defaulting.

However, Trump still believes that something has to be done about America's spending levels. He told Morgan "you could cry" at how much the U.S. is at China's mercy, adding that "virtually every country that does business with us, as a country, takes advantage of the United States."

He also said he found it "stupid," "horrible," and "outrageous" that military benefits were halted during the shutdown
