Free will without responsibility is a tiny child with a box of matches, or the United States and British Government with nuclear bombs.

Free will is a beautiful attribute in its most pristine form and usage, it is literally being a god or goddess with ultimate power to heal or harm, love or hate, build or destroy. Unfortunately at the moment it is quicker to destroy than to build. It takes a person twenty long years to be twenty and takes someone a moment to kill them. It takes millennia to build a city and a moment to drop a bomb on it. It takes sometimes years to build a beautiful relationship, and only one second and one word to destroy it.

In the heading I mean what I said literally because the US Government and Britain are continually using nuclear bombs in the conflicts they exacerbate, and it’s not very well publicized. Free will without responsibility is what has brought humanity to the brink of a nuclear holocaust. Just like free will without responsibility was the cause of the Jewish Holocaust at Auschwitz.

That free will without responsibility is what is destroying humans and the planet, whether you are eating six McDonalds burgers a day, hitting your wife, or ordering the bombings of Libya or Iraq, it’s the same thing. We have been blessed with free will but that blessing is a terrible burden and weapon in the wrong hands, and there are plenty of wrong hands doing the wrong things.

The other side of the coin is an incredible power of good, free will with thoughtful responsibility is like being god with the ability to move mountains and build a heaven on earth in moments. There is a revolution of conscious taking place on the planet which is incredible, but unless that revolution is grounded in free will with responsibility, and the intent to build a future, with no exceptions, on that basis, with a commitment to sanity and stability, and a return to ethics and morals, it won’t last.

The free will we have all been given is a heavy cross to bear with so many temptations around and on every corner. As I have said these temptations are like juicy worms on hooks placed for us to gobble up. An untarnished free will is a beautiful thing to hold in your hands, to really know deep down that you have passed the tests of time and are responsible enough to know you can withstand any test that can be thrown at you. Russia's ambassador to NATO criticized the Western military alliance for its planned deployment of Patriot missiles on the Turkey-Syria border, saying the move threatens to increase hostilities.




After dismissing the idea that Syria was interested in "fanning tension on the border" with Turkey, Alexander Grushko said the proposed deployment of US-made Patriot missile defense systems indicated that NATO "is getting involved in the conflict after all."




Grushko, speaking in Brussels on Friday by a TV linkup, warned against NATO's potential involvement in the Syrian conflict, which would be sparked by "possible incidents" on the Turkey-Syria border.




"We see the danger of the further involvement of NATO in the developments in Syria as a result of provocations or some incidents on the [Turkey-Syria] border," Grushko said.




Following the arrival of the USS Eisenhower in the Mediterranean sea just outside Syria, reports are now circulating that other NATO forces are firmly in place to launch an "imminent" Libya-style military assault to topple President Bashar Al-Assad.

Following the news earlier this week that the USS Eisenhower and the USS Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group are now stationed in waters just outside Syria, the latest report adds that the French aircraft carrier Charles De Gaullehas also joined the fray.




Training exercises involving British and French special forces in recent weeks have concentrated on attacking fortifications in the Alawite mountains, which is where Assad is predicted to escape to should he flee Damascus.




The report adds that the assault, "Would be modeled on the Western intervention in Libya in 2011. It would combine an aerial blitz with ground action by special forces for destroying Assad's chemical weapons stocks, his air force and his air defense systems."




The attack could be preceded by an announcement that Assad has used chemical weapons, which the White House has made clear represents a "red line" that would mandate military intervention.




The sudden deluge of hysteria suggesting, "The Syrian military is prepared to use chemical weapons against its own people and is awaiting final orders from President Bashar Assad," is based entirely on dubious claims by anonymous "US officials".




In setting the stage for war, the establishment media has repeated talking points almost identical to those that preceded the US invasion of Iraq, despite the fact that rhetoric about Saddam Hussein's "weapons of mass destruction" turned out to be based on completely fabricated evidence.

The Guardian newspaper published a classified order issued by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court directing Verizon's Business Network Services to give the National Security Agency electronic data, including all calling records on an "ongoing, daily basis." The order covers each phone number dialed by all customers, along with location and routing data, and with the duration and frequency of the calls, but not the contents of the communications. We're joined by Shayana Kadidal, senior managing attorney at the Center for Constitutional Rights, and two former National Security Agency employees turned whistleblowers: Thomas Drake and William Binney. In 2010, the Obama administration charged Drake with violating The Espionage Act after he was accused of leaking classified information to the press about waste and mismanagement at the agency. The charges were later dropped. "Where has the mainstream media been? These are routine orders, nothing new," Drake says. "What's new is we're seeing an actual order and people are somehow surprised by it. The fact remains that this program has been in place for quite some time it was actually started shortly after 9/11. The PATRIOT Act was the enabling mechanism that allowed the United States government in secret to acquire subscriber records from any company." Binney, who worked at nearly 40 years at the NSA and resigned shortly after the 9/11 attacks, says: "NSA has been doing all this stuff all along and it's been all the companies not just one. The newspaper sites a top secret court order that requires Verizon to give the National Security Agency information on all telephone calls in its system on an "ongoing, daily basis." The order began on April 25 and runs through July 19.

That includes calls made by Verizon customers within the U.S. and between the U.S. and other countries. Verizon has 121 million customers.

Former presidential candidate Newt Gingrich says he supports whatever it takes to prevent a terror attack, as long the information is restricted to the NSA.

"Between the total failure of Attorney General Holder and his team and the IRS scandal and all the other things we're watching, why would anyone trust the government to keep its word? In an ideal world, if you had a trustworthy government and they said the only purpose is to look for terrorism, well, terrorism is a multinational project, and you've got to be aware that there are Americans engaged in terrorism," Gingrich said.

Former Vice President Al Gore Tweeted his reaction writing, "In a digital era, privacy must be a priority. Is it just me, or is secret blanket surveillance obscenely outrageous?"

Under the terms of the order, phone calls are not recorded. The data collected includes the phone numbers of both parties, where calls are made and the length of a conversation.

Why Glass-Steagall Can Cripple the British Empire

It's critical, from a political-military standpoint, that everybody on this call recognize that last week, the action taken by Sen. Tom Harkin represented a very significant political blow to the British Empire, directly. The fact that we now have a Glass-Steagall bill introduced into the Senate, as well as into the House, means that this is now a very serious proposition. The strategy of the London crowd, of Wall Street (which is almost synonymous with the City of London), and the Obama Presidency, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of that apparatus—their strategy was to prevent a bill from being introduced into the Senate. And they had concentrated on a number of Senators, to put excruciating pressure on them—direct bribery, you name it—to make sure that they did not take the step of introducing Glass-Steagall.

And it was genuinely the mobilization that we have been involved in over these past months, that was the decisive factor in getting this bill introduced. There are anecdotal details that may be written up in reflective history books if we survive this crisis, but suffice it to say that this is not speculation, this is not hyperbole, this is the straightforward truth: that our efforts directly produced a major tactical defeat for the British Empire last week, and that's exactly why Mr. LaRouche said that we've got to expect extraordinary reactions from the British, and from Wall Street, and from the Obama White House, to what we've accomplished.

John Ascher quoted from Ben Bernanke's testimony before the Joint Economic Committee of the Congress the other day1—and just bear in mind, that nobody asked him a question about Glass-Steagall. Nobody asked him what his opinion was. It was a prepared message, coming directly from the top down, of this British-controlled world financial system that's on its very last legs. And the message was, "No to Glass-Steagall."

Now, this is not a new message. Back in the Spring of 2010, when the original work was underway to produce what became the Dodd-Frank Act, many of you who've been active for a longer period of time will remember that Sen. Maria Cantwell and Sen. John McCain introduced an amendment to the Senate version, the Dodd bill, which would have fully reinstated Glass-Steagall. There was an enormous brawl at that time over the issue, and the White House and Wall Street—Senate Majority leader Harry Reid on the orders from the White House and Wall Street—moved heaven and earth to make sure that the Glass-Steagall amendment was never brought to a vote.

We were in direct contact with the people in the Senate who were counting the votes. That amendment required a simple majority of 51 votes, and we had a solid commitment from 59 members of the Senate that they would vote in favor of reinstating Glass-Steagall. And so it was only through a vicious parliamentary trick that that bill was prevented from being added as a poison pill to what became Dodd-Frank.

June 5, 2013 - 5 injured/ 8-10 Trapped, more feared trapped in 22nd & Market St. Center City collapse. As many as 10 people are believed to be trapped in the rubble of a building that collapsed Wednesday morning in Philadelphia, city Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers said, according to CNN affiliate WPVI. The four-story building collapsed at the corner of 22nd and Market streets in Philadelphia's Center City area, WPVI reported.

The fire department was called to the site at 10:43 a.m., Capt. Jeffrey Thompson told CNN. Thompson said it wasn't immediately clear whether it was an apartment building or an adjacent building scheduled for demolition.

Video from WPVI showed emergency personnel walking on and around rubble on an exposed area of a ground floor. Several people were trapped in the rubble of a four-story building that collapsed Wednesday morning in Philadelphia, rescue officials told local media.

The structure, located centrally near 22nd and Market Street, was next-door to a building that crews were demolishing. It's not immediately clear what caused the collapse.

Philadelphia Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers told ABC News that between eight and 10 people are believed trapped under the structure.

The collapse happened at a building at 22nd and Market Street in Center City.
Chopper 3 HD was over the scene where rescue crews, including firefighters, were assisting people who were trapped under the rubble.
It was not immediately known if anyone was seriously injured.

BREAKING: France, Britain Confirms Use of Sarin Gas in Syria

(AP) France said Tuesday it has confirmed that the nerve gas sarin was used "multiple times and in a localized way" in Syria, including at least once by the regime. It was the most specific claim by any Western power about chemical weapons attacks in the 27-month-old conflict.

Britain later said that tests it conducted on samples taken from Syria also were positive for sarin.

The back-to-back announcements left many questions unanswered, highlighting the difficulties of confirming from a distance whether combatants in Syria have crossed the "red line" set by President Barack Obama. The regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad has refused to allow U.N. investigators into the country.

The French and British findings, based on samples taken from Syria, came hours after a U.N. team said it had "reasonable grounds" to suspect small-scale use of toxic chemicals in at least four attacks in March and April.

The U.N. probe was conducted from outside Syria's borders, based on interviews with doctors and witnesses of purported attacks and a review of amateur videos from Syria. The team said solid evidence will remain elusive until inspectors can collect samples from victims directly or from the sites of alleged attacks.

Some experts cautioned that the type of evidence currently available to investigators — videos, witness reports and physiological samples of uncertain origin — leaves wide doubts.


At the same time, forensic evidence of alleged chemical weapons use is fading away with time, and the longer U.N. inspectors are kept out of Syria, the harder it will be to collect conclusive proof, they said.

Syria is suspected of having one of the world's largest chemical weapons arsenals, including mustard and nerve gas, such as sarin. In recent weeks, the regime and those trying to topple Assad have increasingly used accusations of chemical weapons use as a propaganda tool, but have offered no solid proof.

In the West, meanwhile, the lack of certainty about such allegations is linked to a high stakes political debate over whether the U.S. should get more involved in the Syria conflict, including by arming those fighting Assad.

Obama has been reluctant to send weapons to the Syrian rebels, in part because of the strong presence of Islamic militants among them. Obama has warned that the use of chemical weapons or their transfer to a terrorist group would cross a "red line," hinting at forceful intervention in such an event.

Yet he has insisted on a high level of proof, including a "chain of custody," that can only come from on-site investigations currently being blocked by the regime.

In Tuesday's announcement about sarin, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said his government had analyzed several samples, including some brought back from Syria by reporters from the Le Monde newspaper.

He said that there was "no doubt" that at least in one case, the regime and its allies were responsible for the attack. "We have integrally traced the chain, from the attack, to the moment people were killed, to when the samples were taken and analyzed," Fabius told the TV station France 2.

He said a line was crossed and that "all options are on the table," including intervening "militarily where the gas is produced or stored."

In London, Britain's Foreign Office said samples from Syria were tested at a government laboratory and that the presence of sarin was confirmed. It did not say when or where the samples were obtained.

ISTANBUL -- Sitting on a concrete ledge surrounding Istanbul's Gezi Park overlooking a roadblock constructed from piles of rubble, high school student Alper Kuzgun is working on his math homework.

"I am not a protester, I am a student," Kuzgun told The Media Line. "But I am here. If the police come, I can help resist."

Over the past five days, he has been joined by tens of thousands of others his age who have come to voice their frustrations with Turkey's government led by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Anti-government demonstrators are concerned secular Turkey is drifting towards a conservative, Islamist-backed state. Proposed changes to the constitution, restrictions on free speech and a recent law restricting the sale of alcohol have lit a fuse on years of pent-up emotions. Graffiti across Istanbul calls on Erdoğan, who's been at the country's helm for a decade, to resign.

So far, he has rejected calls to step down and has brushed off the protests saying he expects things to "normalize" soon. But inside protest camps around historic Taksim Square, there are no signs people are settling down.

Celebratory fireworks light up the sky above the crowds of people clogging the cobblestone center, and candles shine through the tear gas drifting from a nearby police barricade spelling out words: "Taksim belongs to the people."

It is where a group of young people originally joined together last week to try to stop the destruction of one of the last strips of green around Taksim—part of plans backed by the government to build another mall there.

Turkey's deputy prime minister has offered an apology in an effort to appease anti-government protesters across the country as hundreds of riot police deployed around the prime minister's office in the capital for a fifth day.

Bulent Arinc, who is standing in for the prime minister while he is out of the country, said the crackdown was "wrong and unjust".

It was unclear, however, whether Arinc was giving the government line. The prime minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is visiting Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, has undermined statements by his ministers in the past. He has previously called protesters "looters" and dismissed the protests as acts by fringe extremists.
Thousands have joined anti-government rallies across Turkey since Friday, when police launched a pre-dawn raid against a peaceful sit-in over plans to uproot trees in Istanbul's main Taksim Square. Since then the demonstrations by mostly secular-minded Turks have spiralled into Turkey's biggest anti-government disturbances in years, and have spread to many of the biggest cities.

A 22-year-old man died during an anti-government protest in a city near the border with Syria, with officials giving conflicting reports on what caused his death.

Protests were directed at what critics say is Erdogan's aggressive and authoritarian style of governance. Many accuse him of forcing his conservative, religious outlook on lives in the mainly Muslim but secular nation. Erdogan rejects the accusations, says he respects all lifestyles and insists he is the servant not the master of the people.

Bilderberg Agenda
The 61st Bilderberg meeting is set to take place from 6 until 9 June 2013 in Hertfordshire, UK. A total of around 140 participants from 21 European and North American countries have confirmed their attendance. As ever, a diverse group of political leaders and experts from industry, finance, academia and the media have been invited. The list of participants is available on www.bilderbergmeetings.org

Founded in 1954, Bilderberg is an annual conference designed to foster dialogue between Europe and North America.
Every year, between 120-150 political leaders and experts from industry, finance, academia and the media are invited to take part in the conference. About two thirds of the participants come from Europe and the rest from North America; one third from politics and government and the rest from other fields.
The conference has always been a forum for informal, off-the-record discussions about megatrends and the major issues facing the world. Thanks to the private nature of the conference, the participants are not bound by the conventions of office or by pre-agreed positions. As such, they can take time to listen, reflect and gather insights.
There is no detailed agenda, no resolutions are proposed, no votes are taken, and no policy statements are issued.
