Irish Savers & Pensioners Have Just Been Cyprus'd!

Reggie Middleton published an Irish news story by Niall Brady that noted: "Pensioners who leave retirement funds in Irish banks have no protection from the deposit guarantee scheme that protects savers up to 100,000 Euro." Much of Middleton's story rehashes his previous reporting, which makes yesterday's article a bit confusing. Nevertheless, the IBRC precedent does indicate Irish pensioners should not rest easy.

Last February, the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC; previously Anglo Irish Bank) was placed in "special liquidation" -- basically, setting up a "bad bank" structure to deal with bad loans. Liquidation hasn't been without controversy, as pensioners lost savings. Middleton didn't provide a full citation on the Niall Brady story (elevate your game, Reggie). But Ireland does appear to be moving in the direction of not backstopping pensions, as the IBRC example indicates. We'll keep an eye on this story. Meanwhile, we'll keep our original excerpt from Reggie Middleton's website as is — even with it's problematic chronological layout and self congratulatory tone, which gets in the way of actually understanding the story. There has been no Irish-wide reneging on pensions under 100,000 euros held at banks — at least, not yet. A casual reading of Middleton's write-up might lead to that mistaken interpretation.

Ali Alharbi was immediately apprehended by local Boston police after the bombings, only to be released at the orders of Federal authorities before he was quietly and swiftly sent on a plane back to Saudi Arabia.

An important note here, according to BeiforeIt'sNews.com, is the term, 'Saudi national,' meaning Ali Alharbi holds a Saudi Arabian passport but there is no confirmation of him being a Saudi Arabian citizen.

This is often the case with covert operators in the field, some of whom hold up to five different passports and work for more than one intelligence agency.

Beck said on his radio show he has information that Ali Alharbi is a "bad, bad, bad man."

One interesting coincidence regarding Ali Alharbi: On the same day he was let go by local police in Boston, President Barack Obama broke itinerary for an emergency meeting in Washington with the Saudi Foreign Minister (to allegedly discuss the crisis in Syria), preceding the announcement of Alharbi's repatriation back to Saudi Arabia.

Hours after it was debunked, Glenn Beck continued to beat the drum of a conspiracy theory that the Obama administration is deporting a Saudi national who was behind the tragic bombings at the Boston marathon.

The conspiracy theory arose when Steve Emerson, a guest on Fox News' Hannity, accused the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) of preparing to deport a Saudi national "person of interest" in the bombings at the Boston marathon. Right-wing blogs like Glenn Beck's The Blaze, Breitbart.com, WND, and Infowars quickly latched on to the story, alleging President Obama wishes to cover up Saudi Arabian and Al Qaeda ties to the attack.


The myth pretends that a Saudi national who was hospitalized after sustaining injuries in the bombing -- initially reported to be a "person of interest," though he never was -- is the same man DHS is allegedly in the process of deporting for visa violations.

DHS soundly discredited the conspiracy theory this afternoon, explaining to CNN's Jake Tapper that the rumors are confusing two very different men.

Still, hours later, Beck continued to run with the debunked conspiracy on his television program, claiming his "sources" knew better (emphasis added): We at the Blaze know that this Saudi national is a bad, bad, bad man ... This administration is playing an extraordinarily dangerous game. They have very little regard for what it takes to be a citizen. Before the sequester cuts happened, they opened the prison and let illegals out. Who does that? Remember also, the Saudi national that was -- is about to get on a plane -- involved in blowing the legs off of American citizens, being held in protective custody or being protected, at least, by our administration. He will be put in protective custody and the plans are to deport him.

TORONTO - A potential bomb plot on a Via passenger train over the Niagara River has been averted, police say.

The RCMP said Chiheb Esseghaier and Raed Jaser of Montreal and Toronto were arrested for planning the attack. The men are not Canadian citizens.

They were supported by al-Qaida "elements" in Iran, police told reporters at a Monday afternoon press conference.

Charges include conspiring to carry out a terror attack and conspiring to murder for the benefit of, at the direction of, or in association with a terrorist group.

Police said there was no danger to the public, as the plot was discovered and stopped early.

"It was definitely in the planning stage, but not imminent," RCMP Chief Supt. Jennifer Strachan said.

U.S. officials said the alleged plot was not linked with last week's Boston Marathon bombings.

It also recalls the arrests in 2006 of the so-called Toronto-18, accused of planning to plant bombs at various Canadian targets.

Canadian RCMP Disrupt Al-Qaeda Terror Plot

RCMP Confirm Al-Qaeda Supported Terrorist Attack Plot on New York - Toronto Passenger Train .The Royal Canadian Mounted Police arrested and charged two men with plotting an "al Qaeda-supported" terror attack to derail a passenger train inside Canada.

SkyNews. Canadian police say they have foiled an al Qaeda-backed "terrorist plot" to attack a passenger train on a railway line between New York and Toronto.
Two people have been arrested and charged for conspiring to carry out the attack and murder people in association with a terrorist group, police revealed at a news conference in Toronto.
The suspects - Chiheb Esseghaier, 30, and Raed Jaser, 35 - had been under surveillance since August 2012.
They were allegedly planning to target a Via Rail passenger train in the Toronto area, and are alleged to have received "direction and guidance" from al Qaeda elements in Iran.
Police said there was "no indication that these attacks were state-sponsored" and declined to say where the arrested men were from, but confirmed they were not Canadian citizens.
Canadian authorities, the FBI and US Homeland Security police and agents have been involved in a year-long cross-border operation that led to the arrests in Toronto and Montreal.
Assistant Commissioner James Maliza, of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, said: "Had this plot been carried out it would have resulted in innocent people being killed, or seriously injured."
Colleague Chief Superintendent Jennifer Strachan added: "We are alleging that these two individuals took steps and conducted activities to initiate a terrorist attack.
"They watched trains and railways in the Greater Toronto area."
She added: "It was definitely in the planning stage but not imminent."
Sky's US correspondent Amanda Walker said: "They are really hailing this as a successful operation - something particularly in the current climate - that they have managed to prevent.
"It does seem they have treated this as a very serious and major threat which was certainly well-on in the planning, it seems.
"But not far enough for the public or railway staff to be in any immediate danger.
"So obviously they had a difficult act here to actually balance the timing of when they made these arrests - getting enough intelligence, enough information, but not taking that up to the point when the public would have been in real danger."
The news comes one week after twin bombings at the Boston Marathon killed three people and wounded 180 - and as Canada's parliament debates a proposal to beef up anti-terror measures.
A US Justice Department official in Washington said there was no connection between the thwarted terrorist plot and last Monday's attacks in Boston.

The RCMP have arrested two people who they say were plotting a terrorist attack in Canada, CTV News has learned.

"I am told that the two people who have been arrested, they are linked somehow to al Qaeda," Fife reported Monday afternoon.

Fife said it remains unclear how the two are connected to the international terror organization.

The two people arrested Monday are not linked with two men from London, Ont., who died in an alQaeda-linked siege on a gas plant in Algeria last January. They are also not linked to the suspects in last week's deadly Boston Marathon bombing.

The public was "never at risk," security sources told Fife, because RCMP and CSIS were closely monitoring the suspects.

The suspects are described as being older, so "it does not appear to be a case of radicalization of youth," Fife said.

Fife said police had planned to make the arrests three weeks ago, but for unknown reasons they picked up the suspects on Monday.

The RCMP are expected to provide more information at a Toronto news conference scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET.

The arrests come as MPs debate an anti-terrorism bill that has been in the works for months but has taken on greater significance in the wake of the deadly bombings at the Boston Marathon last week.

Bill S-7, the Combating Terrorism Act, includes provisions that make it an offence to leave the country to participate in acts of terror. It also grants police the powers to pre-emptively arrest someone and hold them for three days without charge, and allows for imprisonment for up to 12 months for refusing to testify before a judge in an investigative hearing.

4/21/13 - ABC News is reporting that Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is awake and responding to questions while under guard at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. The 19-year-old has been unable to speak since he was captured Friday night. He has been in serious but stable condition, according to Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, but was not expected to wake up so soon.
Boston Mayor Thomas Menino even said today: "...we don't know if we'll ever be able to question the individual."

Nearly 48 hours after he was taken into custody following an intense gun battle and manhunt, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was communicating with a special team of federal investigators... He was responding to questions mostly in writing because of the throat wound, according to the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity. The suspect remains in serious condition. Law enforcement sources had said earlier they were putting the final touches on charges against Tsarnaev and would announce them Sunday. 4/21/13 - Philip Mudd, former counterterror expert for the CIA and the FBI, joined Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday to discuss the nature of the threat posed by the Tsarnaev brothers and any network they may have been associated with in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings. He said the Boston attack reminded him more of the 1999 attack on Columbine than a terror event orchestrated by a foreign network. "I would charge these guys as murders not terrorists," Mudd said of the suspects in the attack on the Boston Marathon.


"Do you think we have to fear copycats -- more of these small, domestic terror cells -- and how does law enforcement need to respond more effectively, not necessary to catch them, they did that pretty well, but to prevent it in the first place," Wallace asked Mudd.

Mudd replied and said that copycat threats almost always materialize after a widely covered attack like the one that occurred in Boston last Monday.

"What I fear though is that people too quickly categorize this as terrorism," Mudd added. "This looks more to me like Columbine than it does like Al Qaeda."

"Two kids who radicalized between themselves in a closed circle and go out and commit murder," Mudd observed. "I would charge these guys as murderers, not terrorists."

Wallace pushed back on this and said that Russian authorities had identified the elder Tsarnaev brother as being influenced by radical Islam while in Chechnya. "How can you write off the idea that there was some outside influence here?" Wallace asked.

Mudd said that he's not writing that off, but the term 'terrorism' was a misleading way to characterize the Boston attack. "The psychology is not that simple," Mudd noted. "It's two kids who decided for whatever ideology that they wanted to commit murder."

"The murder piece is as significant as the terrorism piece," he concluded.

WEST, Texas (Reuters) - Investigators searched for clues on Friday to the cause of a Texas fertilizer plant explosion that obliterated sections of a small town and killed at least 12 people, including volunteer firefighters who raced to the scene to douse a blaze.

There was no indication of foul play in the blast at West Fertilizer Co, a privately owned facility that authorities said had not been inspected in two years.

The farm supply business, located in a residential area of West, had told a state agency that it stored potentially combustible ammonium nitrate on the site.

A Texas state official said Friday that 12 people died in the blast and approximately 200 were injured. Earlier, the mayor of West said 14 had died.

Texas Senator John Cornyn said the deputy fire marshal of the town told him that 60 people were still unaccounted for but that number was expected to come down. Authorities are cross-referencing people who are at the hospital, maybe staying with relatives or have left town, he said.

"I would just take that (number) with a grain of caution," Cornyn said.

The deaths included paramedics and volunteer firefighters who responded to an initial fire alarm, and likely were killed by the ensuing blast, which was so powerful it registered as a magnitude 2.1 earthquake.

It left a devastated landscape, reducing a 50-unit apartment complex to what one local official called "a skeleton standing up," destroying about 50 homes and heavily damaging a nursing home and schools.

Officials on Friday said 25 homes had yet to be searched. In some cases the structures needed to be reinforced before anyone could enter, they said

The death toll was huge for a town of 2,700, and nearly everyone seemed to know someone who died or was presumed dead.

Brian Uptmor, 37 said his brother disappeared after he went toward the fire on Wednesday night to try to save horses in a pasture near the plant.

William "Buck" Uptmor, 44, has not been found among the injured at area hospitals, has not answered his cell phone and his truck has not moved from where he left it.

"He is dead. We don't know where his body is," said Uptmor, a former firefighter. "It'll probably hit me at the funeral."

DANGEROUS MATERIALS

West Fertilizer Co is a retail facility that blends fertilizer and sells anhydrous ammonia and other chemical products to local farmers. It stored 270 tons of "extremely hazardous" ammonium nitrate, according to a report filed by the company with the state government.

Farmers use anhydrous ammonia as fertilizer to boost soil nitrogen levels and improve crop production.

The West plant is one of thousands of sites across rural America that stores and sells hazardous materials such as chemicals and fertilizer for agricultural use. Many are near residences and schools.

The plant was last inspected for safety in 2011, according to a Risk Management Plan filed with the federal Environmental Protection Agency.

The EPA fined the firm $2,300 in 2006 for failing to implement a risk management plan.

The plant's owner could not be reached for comment.

While authorities stressed it was still too early to speculate on the precise cause of the blast, a forensic sciences expert said investigators probably would consider at least two scenarios.

John Goodpaster, assistant professor and director of forensic sciences at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, said anhydrous ammonia is stored in liquid form but forms a vapor when mixed with air that can be explosive.

If enough heat is applied to a container of anhydrous ammonia, he said, "that container could become a bomb."

A second possibility is that ammonium nitrate, which was stored at the facility, could have exploded, said Goodpaster. This was the cause of one of America's worst industrial accidents. In 1947 ammonium nitrate detonated aboard a ship in a Texas City port, killing nearly 600 people.

"He had such grace and everybody loved this kid," said Larry Aaronson, a retired Cambridge Rindge and Latin teacher. "I will say to you, from the depth of my heart, he couldn't have been sweeter. ... He couldn't have been more precious. ... He couldn't have been more gracious, I knew him as nothing but a wonderful kid.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was a standout wrestler at the school and went on to attend UMass Dartmouth. Born in Russia, Dzhokhar led what friends called a relatively "normal" life, immigrating to the U.S. more than a decade ago before filling his teen years with sports, school and friends.

"He came from the heart, deep in the war zone on Chechnya," Aaronson said. "I would talk to him about it and he would say, 'Larry, you just adjust to it and I'm grateful to be here.'"

Friend Ahdi Moro, 22, of Watertown recalled Dzhokhar as "the most popular kid at school. He was a really good-looking kid. He's as American as anybody. He grew up here. He's like a regular Cambridge kid."

Dzhokhar returned often to Rindge and Latin to help train wrestlers, including as recently as six weeks ago.

"He was just smiling as usual," said Essah Chisholm, a 17-year-old senior wrestler. "He was a normal dude. There wasn't anything weird about him."

Ruslan Tsarni, an uncle who lives in Maryland, said his last memory of Dzhokhar in December 2005 was of a "quiet boy." But he told reporters he was disgusted by his nephews' alleged attacks, which he attributed to "being losers, not being able to settle themselves, and thereby just hating everyone who did."

Dzhokhar, others say, often followed the lead of his big brother Tamerlan.

"His younger brother would come to the gym with him, but he wouldn't box; he would do the exercises," said John Curran, a boxing trainer who worked with the elder Tsarnaev. "His younger brother idolized him."

UMass Dartmouth student Austin Hightower said he met Dzhokhar last year. He said Dzhokhar never expressed any political leanings, and the one time he did, it was about Chechnya.

"He said it was a very staunch, nationalistic country," said Hightower. "And that (Chechens in general) are very proud of where they are from."

After an early-morning Facebook post in which he said, "I think I know this guy, but I hope I don't," High­tower said police showed up to whisk him to the state police barracks, where they grilled him for hours on whether Dzhokhar had military training — as well as whether he was a "nice guy."

If anything, he said, he considered Dzhokhar a relaxed kid who "liked the Mary Jane."

"I cannot stress enough just how laid back and cool and chill he was," he said. "Part of me doesn't want to believe this story. He's ­literally like a stick, so I can't even imagine he was a wrestler, let alone a terrorist ­murderer."

NWO: The Vatican, Martial Law, the Mark of the Beast, the Antichrist and the False Messiah

 Bible prophecy indicates that the world will soon go through unprecedented changes, which will take the great majority of us by surprise.

Satan, the father of lies and enemy of God, knows his time is short as prophetic signs point the imminent glorious return of the Son of God and Saviour of the human race, Jesus the Christ. They are creating havoc on Earth, in anticipation of Satan's final attempt at deceiving the elect of the God -- the 144 000 -- who keep the commandments of the Most High and the faith of Christ (Revelation 14:12).

Then, Satan, as the false messiah, will come in the flesh and masquerade himself as Christ to a deceived world, which has rejected the Christ of the Bible and His Law of love, His holy ten commandments. However, this false messiah will not be able to deceive the elect of the Most High as well as countless others, who will come to the knowledge of the truth, in these end times. The false messiah will change the 7th day Sabbath commandment of the Most High which points to Him as the Creator to SUNday, the venerable day of the sun, in partnership with the Antichrist pope, to bring about Sunday laws worldwide.

Sunday worship will be the enforced mark of the Vatican beast, the prophesied first beast of Revelation 13 and whore of Babylon in Revelation 17. This is what the Vatican beast has to say about its mark:

"Sunday is our MARK of our authority [...] The church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact". — Catholic Record of London, Ontario. Sept. 1, 1923.

Those who accept Sunday rather than the commanded 7th day Sabbath of God will pay a miserable price for disobeying an offended God. The seven plagues of the Most High will soon fall upon those who will take the mark of the beast (Sunday rest and worship) -- rather than observing the commandments of the Most High including the 7th day Sabbath commandment (Exodus 20:8-11) - and their fate will be an unpleasant one, as mentioned in Revelation 14:9-10:

"[...] if any man worship the beast (Vatican) and his image (protestant churches) and receive his mark (Sunday) in his forehead (decision to accept Sunday as day of rest) or in his hand (not working on Sunday), the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb (Revelation 14:9-10).

Sunday observance cannot be found in the Bible. Christ or His apostles never ordained or commanded a change in the day of rest from the 7th day of the week to the 1st day of the week.

The Catholic church has even admitted this fact through the following statement:

"From beginning to end of Scripture, there is not a single passage that warrants the transfer of weekly public worship from the last day of the week [Saturday] to the first [Sunday]." Catholic Press, Sydney, Australia, August, 1900.

Soon, every man, woman and child will have to make a very important decision that will alter the fate: either embrace Christ and His commandments including the 7th day Sabbath commandment or obeying the satan-inspired beasts of Revelation 13, including the Vatican and the United States and their one world government and false religious system.

In Revelation chapter 14 verse 12 and in Revelation chapter 22 verse 14, those who will receive eternal life in Christ's kingdom are identified as the saints who keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Christ. In contrast, those who willingly reject God's commandments, including the 7th day Sabbath commandment, will die for their disobedience since the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).

Make the right choice: choose Christ, put your faith and trust in the Son of God, keep His holy ten commandments through the Holy Spirit (Exodus 20:1-17) and Christ will reward you, as a gift, with eternal life in His everlasting kingdom of love, peace and joy (Revelation 14:12; Revelation 22:14).

Do we have the following evidence that the two brothers actually did the bombing?
1. Picture or video of them placing their backpacks in exact areas of explosions.
2. Evidence of their same backpacks blown up with explosive residue on the backpacks?
3. Any proof that they made purchases of pressure cookers, metal scrapnal, gun powder, ignitors?
4. Specific communications by them of planning the event?
From a outsider, it looks that these two brothers were scared to death and were running for their lives because they were the main suspects without any specific charge or reason. All the public knew is what they saw on the FBI video and what was said that they were armed and dangerous.
The American public deserves more details and evidence, otherwise there will be more doubts and more distrust of Government.

President Barack Obama spoke about the "resolve and resilience" of Boston during his weekly address on April 20. "On Monday, an act of terror wounded dozens and killed three innocent people at the Boston Marathon," Obama says in a video posted to the White House's YouTube page on Saturday. "But in the days since, the world has witnessed one sure and steadfast truth: Americans refuse to be terrorized." The hunt for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, one of the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing, ended Friday night when authorities captured him in Watertown, Mass. Authorities say the suspect, along with his brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev, killed an MIT police officer, severely wounded another lawman and hurled explosives at police in a car chase and gun battle, the AP reports. Obama addressed the nation after Tsarnaev's capture on Friday night, thanking both authorities and Bostonians. "Tonight, our nation is in debt to the people of Boston," Obama said, thanking Boston residents as "citizens and partners" in the bombing investigation. All in all," Obama said, "this has been a tough week. But we have seen the character of our country once more."
