President Nicos Anastasiades was trying to compel policy makers in Brussels to soften demands for a tax to be assessed on Cypriot bank deposits, saying European Union leaders used "blackmail" to get him to agree to those conditions early Saturday in order to receive a bailout package worth 10 billion euros, or $13 billion. Cyprus, whose banking system is verging on collapse, is now the fifth nation in the 17-member euro union to seek financial assistance since the crisis broke out three years ago. As anger in this country swelled against the measure, Mr. Anastasiades delayed an emergency vote parliamentary vote on the bailout plan until Tuesday, the second step in as many days. Faced with a lack of support from lawmakers, the vote could be delayed until as late as Friday. The government also said it would keep Cypriot banks shuttered until at least Thursday, well beyond a bank holiday that was supposed to end Monday, a move aimed at staving off a possible bank run. A public holiday in Spain on Monday prevented savers worried by the Cypriot bailout from rushing to their banks, but there were no queues at cash machines and few signs of nervousness from investors. Researcher and activist Dane Wigington has been documenting disturbing changes in the environment known as geoengineering. This includes various weather modification techniques such as chemtrails and HAARP. Through efforts such as chemtrails that place metal particulates in the atmosphere, we are now experiencing "global dimming," in which 20% of the sun's rays no longer reach the direct surface of the planet, he reported. Geoengineering's covert programs have been enacted as a means of control, and possibly to lessen the effects of global warming, but these efforts have backfired and become a dire threat to life on Earth, he warned. "At a certain point when you realize can't walk out the door and breathe without sucking in a lung full of heavy metal," you know you have to take a stand, he said.
Lab tests associated with chemtrails have found such chemicals as aluminum, strontium, barium, and now fluoride in Europe, and he connected this to soil and water contamination, and the decline of various forms of life. Artificially induced snowstorms are another harmful form of weather modification that has been seen in places where snow falls even though temperatures are above freezing, he revealed. Wigington cautioned that geoengineering could be pushing Earth into a "Venus Syndrome," in which climate feedback loops are triggered that begin to feed on themselves, eventually creating a hellish climate like that of Venus.
A NOAA scientist told him off the record that they are aware of these programs but afraid to step forward because of no 1st amendment protections. One of the few whistleblowers to come forward is Kristen Meghan, a former Air Force industrial hygienist, who has seen some of the chemtrail operations. At this juncture, Wigington believes there is a panic in the power structure. "Even those who were orchestrating these programs now are realizing that they cannot control the beast they have let out of the cage, and they are now frantically trying to refreeze the Arctic with ice nucleation," he commented.

Regarding the topic of last minute chaos and confusion in Cyprus, and Europe, it will come as no surprise that the previously scheduled Monday bank holiday (aka Green Monday) has been extended into Tuesday. So prepare to not be surprised.. The Cypriot cabinet has declared Tuesday a bank holiday, for fear of capital flight, and this may even be stretched to Wednesday, as depositors are certain to withdraw huge sums from the Cypriot banks after the haircut imposed.. Nicosia postponed from Sunday to Monday the tabling in Parliament of the bill including the measures for the Cypriot bailout -- including a bank account haircut and a tax hike on interest and corporate earnings -- but the European Central Bank insists on a rapid voting because there are already signs a domino effect will follow across European lenders and markets from Monday.. There is genuine fear of market unrest on Monday morning when stocks may crumble in the eurozone and bank accounts in other southern European bank may suffer.. Skai radio reported on Sunday that the Bank of Greece has sent between 4 and 5 billion euros to Cyprus in order to help Cypriot banks respond to cash requirements by their clients.. So, if the official name of the March 18 holiday was "Green Monday", will the March 19th ad hoc holiday be called "Red Tuesday"...

Sabotage missions are best done through stealth by sneaking past enemies and hacking security systemsThe Secret World utilises guilds in the form of Cabals. D.C, Webster Tarpley, discussed the conspiratorial mindset, and shared
his intriguing analysis of current geopolitical and historical
situations. More and more people are turning toward conspiracies because
the "official story" behind such events as 9-11 and the JFK
assassination are unbelievable or fantastic, he said. Tarpley doesn't
consider himself a conspiracy theorist, but a seeker of truth, though he
admitted that the uncovering of facts in many instances often does
point to conspiracies. We live in an oligarchy run by financiers, and
they often do conspire together for shared goals, he noted, adding that
they compose a shadow government that secretly rules the US,
intersecting with people at the State Dept., the CIA, and perhaps the
Treasury and the Federal Reserve.
Tarpley spoke about his
forthcoming book about Pearl Harbor and the assassination of FDR. We're
told a lot of fakery about Roosevelt like he provoked Japan, and that he
kept his Naval Admirals in the dark, but the opposite was true, he
said. Further, a group of Wall St. Republicans that FDR put in control
of the Pentagon wanted a defeat to weaken FDR in the postwar world, and
Churchill knew the time and place of the Pearl Harbor attack but kept
quiet in order to draw the US into the war, he continued. Roosevelt was
poisoned by a female Russian painter in April 1945, Tarpley claimed, and
Stalin reportedly told FDR's son "your father was poisoned/murdered by
the Churchill gang."
Tarpley also commented on current situations
in France, China, and Russia, as well as Syria and Libya, two countries
that he visited during recent turmoils. America can get out of its
economic woes by seizing control of the Federal Reserve, and stop using
it to give 0% loans to bankers and financial interests, and instead give
these loans with a hundred year maturity to the states, who could then
start massive infrastructure rebuilding projects, he argued.

North Korea says it is scrapping all non-aggression pacts with South Korea, closing its hotline with Seoul and shutting their shared border point.
The announcement follows a fresh round of UN sanctions punishing Pyongyang for its nuclear test last month.
Earlier, Pyongyang said it had a right to carry out a pre-emptive nuclear strike and was pulling out of the armistice that ended the Korean War.
The US said "extreme rhetoric" was not unusual for Pyongyang.
China, which is the North's only major ally, called for both North and South to show restraint and to continue talking.
Beijing rarely criticises its ally, but has criticised the North's nuclear tests and has given support to the UN's sanctions.
South Korea's President Park Geun-hye said the current security situation was "very grave" but that she would "deal strongly" with provocation from the North.
She also said she was ready to talk to Pyongyang if it "comes out on the path toward change".
'Puppet traitors'
The North Korean announcement, carried on the KCNA state news agency, said the North was cancelling all non-aggression pacts with the South and closing the main Panmunjom border crossing inside the Demilitarized Zone.
The threatened pre-emptive nuclear strike seems more bluff than reality, since the North's leaders know it would be suicidal, and an attack on the US seems impracticable given the still technically rudimentary quality of the North's ballistic missile programme and the unproven state of its nuclear miniaturisation technology needed to place a nuclear warhead atop a missile.
A more troubling possibility is that the North might choose - out of irritation with the UN - to precipitate a border clash with South Korea, either on land or sea, as it did before in 2010. Will sanctions persuade or provoke?
The two Koreas have reached a range of agreements over the years, including a 1991 pact on resolving disputes and avoiding military clashes, but the North Korean statement did not expand on what was being cancelled.
It also said it was notifying the South that it was "immediately" cutting off the North-South hotline, saying there was "nothing to talk to the puppet group of traitors about".
The hotline, installed in 1971, is intended as a means of direct communication at a time of high tension, but is also used to co-ordinate the passage of people and goods through the heavily-fortified Demilitarized Zone.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un also visited front-line military units that were involved in the shelling of a South Korean island in 2010, KCNA reports.
The reports said he had urged soldiers to keep themselves ready to "annihilate the enemy" at any time.
The BBC's Lucy Williamson in Seoul says it appears the North is trying to build a sense of crisis domestically, with a large rally staged in Pyongyang on Friday and reports of camouflage netting on public transport.
North Korea has breached agreements before and withdrawing from them does not necessarily mean war, our correspondent says, but it does signal a more unpredictable and unstable situation.
Shutting down the hotline will leave both more exposed to misunderstandings, she adds.

In the event of such an emergency, citizens can also be forced to work on projects the government deems necessary, he continued.
While the US has a number of ongoing national emergencies already declared, they are mainly related to security threats from foreign countries such as Iran, Somalia, Syria, and North Korea, Tuohy explained, adding that the declarations in these cases basically serve as pretexts for war or military actions that could be funded without congressional budget constraints, should the need arise. While the powers of executive orders weren't delineated into the Constitution, Congress hasn't acted to remove them, and thus there is kind of a "slippery slope," as to how these powers might be used, he pointed out.
Tuohy noted that in some cases it makes sense to have certain executive orders in place-- such as if a foreign country suddenly pointed a nuclear missile at the US, there wouldn't be time to call Congress together to make a response. "The irony with it is," he remarked, "is that many times the Presidents... are going to act outside of the constitutional bounds to respond to an emergency to supposedly ensure constitutional government." He also detailed the US' continuity of government plans-- each individual federal department supposedly has three different secret relocation sites. Some of these are said to involve well-stocked massive underground facilities, possibly set up to hold 2,000 people for up to 6 months to a year, he said, and this has contributed to the idea of a "shadow government."

Historian and President of Washington Grove Institute, a think tank in Washington D.C, Webster Tarpley, discussed the conspiratorial mindset, and shared his intriguing analysis of current geopolitical and historical situations. More and more people are turning toward conspiracies because the "official story" behind such events as 9-11 and the JFK assassination are unbelievable or fantastic, he said. Tarpley doesn't consider himself a conspiracy theorist, but a seeker of truth, though he admitted that the uncovering of facts in many instances often does point to conspiracies. We live in an oligarchy run by financiers, and they often do conspire together for shared goals, he noted, adding that they compose a shadow government that secretly rules the US, intersecting with people at the State Dept., the CIA, and perhaps the Treasury and the Federal Reserve.
Tarpley spoke about his forthcoming book about Pearl Harbor and the assassination of FDR. We're told a lot of fakery about Roosevelt like he provoked Japan, and that he kept his Naval Admirals in the dark, but the opposite was true, he said. Further, a group of Wall St. Republicans that FDR put in control of the Pentagon wanted a defeat to weaken FDR in the postwar world, and Churchill knew the time and place of the Pearl Harbor attack but kept quiet in order to draw the US into the war, he continued. America can get out of its economic woes by seizing control of the Federal Reserve, and stop using it to give 0% loans to bankers and financial interests, and instead give these loans with a hundred year maturity to the states, who could then start massive infrastructure rebuilding projects, he argued.

3/14/13 - He didn't speak for 13 hours, but Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), brandishing two large binders as he took the CPAC stage, joked that he brought "13 hours worth of information." He did go well over his reported 13 minutes of speaking time, possibly due to an enthusiastic crowd that appeared to still be fired up from his recent filibuster. Early in the speech, when Paul said he was there to deliver a message to the president, one excited fan yelled out, "Don't drone me, bro!" (a semi-obscure reference to a college student who shouted "Don't tase me, bro!" to police who were trying to remove him from a John Kerry speaking event). Paul laughed, saying "that's not exactly what I was thinking. However, I think he may have distilled my 13-hour speech into three words." Paul went on to accuse President Obama of no longer respecting civil liberties, citing his potential allowances for drone strikes on and "indefinite detention" of American citizens as prime examples. He then broadened out his defense of liberty to include economic matters, arguing for smaller government and less debt. The White House's recent decision to stop giving tours as a money-saving measure became a major object of Paul's scorn. To loud boos from the crowd, Paul displayed outrage over the tours being canceled in the same week the State Department decided to give $250 million in aid to Egypt. "I say not one penny more to countries that are burning our flag," he said. He then cited examples of small scientific studies, such as building a robotic squirrel or examining how monkeys behave on methamphetamines. "Does it really take $3 million to discover that monkeys, like humans, act crazy on meth?" Paul asked to laughter from his audience. Paul also continued the arguments he made in a recent op-ed targeting "millennials," this time labeling them the "Facebook generation." He received loud applause after this line defending decriminalization of drugs, an issue that hasn't always been a pillar of the Republican Party: "Ask the Facebook generation whether we should put a kid in jail for the nonviolent crime of drug use and you'll hear a resounding no." Arguing against large-scale government subsidies of any kind, Paul said, "There is nothing conservative about bailing out Wall Street. Likewise, there is nothing progressive about billion-dollar loans to millionaires to build solar panels." He ended his rousing speech with the "stand with Rand" rhetoric of his filibuster, saying "I will stand for our prosperity and our freedom, and I ask everyone who values liberty to stand with me."
