Oil Wars -- The Shale Oil Bubble Bursting

Hooray, oil is suddenly much cheaper than it used to be. That's great news, right? Not so fast. For certain it's not good news for those counting on a continued rise in US oil production from the "shale miracle". Many drillers were challenged to operate profitably when oil was above $70 per barrel. Very few will remain solvent with oil in the $50s (as it is as of this writing). So, expect US oil production to suffer from these lower prices if they persist. But even if oil prices rise and rise soon, there's new data that indicates the total amount of extractable oil from America's shale plays is less -- much less -- than what we're being told (or better put, "sold"). On today's podcast, Chris talks with oil analyst David Hughes, who has complied several recent studies based on a massive database of production results on a play-by-play basis of America's shale basins. The data show that declines tend to be hyperbolic in all shale fields. The average first-year decline is 70%; down to 85% by year three. And we're drilling the best plays first: meaning future ones will yield less even under the best results. We're pinning our hopes of "oil independence" on faulty data. Worse, we're using it to dismiss the Peak Oil theme at exactly the time we should be using this extra oil to construct the infrastructure for our next energy age (whatever that may look like), while we still have the net energy available to us.

Air raid sirens went off in the northern Golan Heights on Tuesday as at least two rockets landed in the Israeli-controlled region. No injuries or damage were reported. The rockets were reportedly launched from Syrian territory, but it wasn’t immediately clear who was responsible or whether it was an intentional attack on Israeli territory. The IDF confirmed that at least two rockets had hit the northern Golan Heights and a spokesperson said that the Mount Hermon ski slopes were being evacuated. Some reports said as many as four missiles were fired.

A team of investigators is working at the scene of the incident, said Aleksey Lubinsky, an official with the federal Investigative Committee in the Amur Region. Lubinsky said that the investigators “found two bodies on the first floor of the building in the chief’s office, and one more body was located on the ground floor.”

The European banking system is also in severe turmoil with the European central bank being forced to issue over one trillion Euros, ostensibly to boost the economy but, in reality, to prevent total collapse of the European banking system. These incidents are interrelated parts of a single campaign to liberate the planet from a satanic cabal that is still trying to start World War 3 in order to permanently enslave humanity. Also last week, representatives of the group trying to replace the cabal controlled US dollar with the cabal controlled SDR contacted the White Dragon Society to try to justify their plans. The essence of their message was that in order to reduce distortions in the world economy caused by the US dollar, they needed to gradually replace it with the SDR. Basically, it was total gobbledygook disguised in highfalutin financial language. They were told in clear language that a jubilee, a one-off redistribution of assets and a massive (multi-trillion dollar) campaign to end poverty and stop environmental destruction were non-negotiable demands. If they failed to do this, they were told, it was a mathematical certainty their current system would collapse in catastrophic failure; leading to a French revolution type bloodbath scenario. They all told the same thing, “Wring all the money you can out of your people, take all your resources and hand them over to the international banking mafia.” That is what the outgoing Greek slave government did. The result was Greek GDP fell 25%, incomes fell 30% and debt rose from 126% of GDP in 2010 to 175% today. To top it off, a lot of their islands are no longer Greek. The Greeks have finally had enough and elected a government that promises to renounce the debt. They still want to use the Euro though but, if they do that, they will have to keep taking orders from the Germans. They would be better off to notice the Russians have offered to send the gas they ship to Europe via Greece (giving the Greeks fat transshipment fees) and buy Greek produce. If the Greeks issue their own currency, it is true most of their elite will no longer be able to buy Mercedes Benz cars but, the ensuing inflow of tourists and outflow of Greek exports would make the average Greeks a lot richer. It is only a matter of time before the Spanish and the Italians figure out the same thing. The Euro project will only work if the Mediterranean countries hand over full control to unelected bureaucrats in Brussels and their cabal overlords. The result of that would be fascism in Europe. Now let us look at what the Russians are doing. Following last weeks’ cut off of gas to the perpetually non-paying Ukrainian Nazi government, they have finally taken off the kid gloves and gone on a full offensive against the foreign mercenary army in Eastern Ukraine. The Russians are fighting for their homeland, the mercenaries for money, it is a pretty easy guess as to who will win. For that reason, according to a French agent, “The French defense minister was in Riyadh the 4th Jan 2015, and he confirmed that Libya will be invaded within 3 months with the purpose of securing oil for Israel.” Remember that both France and Israel are run in secret by the Rothschild family. So, what is really going on is an effort to keep the Rothschilds from going bankrupt by stealing oil from the Middle East and stealing gas from the Ukraine. Message to the Rothschild family: you are mathematically doomed to bankruptcy and an international crime spree will not save you. Also, stay out of Libya. Speaking about going bankrupt, some of the banking victims of the recent plunge in oil prices are beginning to appear. According to MI5 sources “Standard and Chartered is looking for a new boss as a result of poor commodity performance and oil, JP Morgan’s exposure to yield non-investment grade oil and gas debt is $99.9 billion, Wells Fargo is $98 bn and Bank of America is $58.7bn.” That is just the tip of the iceberg. The huge plunge in the Euro has also, for sure, mathematically doomed many banks. You can be sure plans are being cooked at this very moment to seize ordinary people’s bank accounts in order to save bankers and banks. The bottom line is that the European/American economic model based on debt slavery and using proxy armies to steal resources is no longer functioning. Fiddling with the system using such tricks as negative interest rates and money printing presses will not work. What is needed is a Western version of the hybrid central planning/capitalist model the Japanese used to have (until the Americans forced them to dismantle it) and that the Chinese imitated with great success. Filmmaker and artist Jeremy Corbell discussed his research and work with the late Dr. Roger Leir, who removed dozens of alien implants from people. In Corbell's new film, Patient Seventeen, he explores the truth behind implants, and interviewed the man whom Leir conducted his last surgery upon. Corbell found 'Patient Seventeen' to be a sincere and honest man who was not looking for the limelight. He described alien abduction experiences that could be connected to the small metallic implant that showed up on X-rays of his leg.

Corbell filmed the implant removal surgery and said the object seemed to be elusive, and was emitting some kind of electromagnetic frequency. It looked like a hard black cylinder, just a little bigger than a grain of rice, and electron microscope lab tests revealed some unusual properties. The object was a complex alloy containing some 36 elements, including some rare earth ones, and according to Corbell's sources it was a manufactured object built to be especially strong. Additionally, the sample had an isotopic zinc ratio that was 2.5% outside of the normal terrestrial ratio for Zinc 64, he revealed.

One of Corbell's sources was a person he referred to as Nano Man, a nanotechnology expert who does projects for the military, and has developed a 'hyperspace' propulsion system. Nano Man gave him a substance nicknamed 'utility fog' that he suggested came from an off-world or alien source, because it would not be possible to make on Earth. Corbell also talked about the extensive footage he's shot with John Lear for an upcoming documentary, as well as his interview with 'Anonymous,' an ex-CIA operative who claims, through his military and intelligence career, to have been exposed to realities and technologies of an extraterrestrial nature.

First hour guest, John Byrne Cooke, was a filmmaker and road manager for Janis Joplin, and shared details of the first female rock and roll superstar's life and work. Cooke worked as part of D.A. Pennebaker's film crew at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967, and Joplin's performance with Big Brother & the Holding Company really put them on the musical map, he shared. While working as the road manager for Joplin in 1969, when she was touring as a solo act with a back-up band, she went through hard times, and increased her usage of alcohol and drugs, Cooke reported. Joplin seemed to be on the upswing in 1970, exploring new dimensions in her vocals, and forming a new touring band, so it was all the more tragic when she overdosed on heroin and alcohol, Cooke said, adding that he was the one who discovered her body in a Los Angeles hotel room.

Panic Shopping Before A Blizzard The Shelves Are Emtpy

 I was out last night (Sunday) to get a quart of milk on the way home and was shocked to find that the stores had been stripped bare. The shelves were absolutely gutted. People are panic shopping before the massive blizzard hits.

They are calling it a storm of potentially historic proportions.

People are panic buying up all the dairy products, fresh produce, flashlights and batteries, meats and more. The shelves in the store look like a post apocalyptic scene. It is surreal walking through the stores right now.

In Lowes the entire store was empty. It looked like a zombie apocalypse film where I was the last man on Earth. I was totally alone in the entire store. No customers and not a clerk to be found. They called all the employees up to the garden center to handle the mad rush of sales.

Generators, gas cans, fuel, snow blowers and shovels were being carted out in droves.

Walking through the store felt so strange.

This is what happens when you are not prepared. All I needed was some milk. It feels good to not have any need to panic just before a storm hits.

This is a good reminder that everyone should have at least two weeks worth of food on hand at all times. Everyone should especially have plenty of water on hand in case of a power outage. When the power goes out there is no more running water.

This week, events around the country will highlight the importance of parental control of education as part of National School Choice Week. This year’s events should attract more attention than prior years because of the growing rebellion against centralized education sparked by the federal Common Core curriculum.

The movement against Common Core has the potential to change American education. However, anti-Common Core activists must not be misled by politicians promoting “reforms” of the federal education bureaucracy, or legislation ending Common Core while leaving all other federal education programs intact. The only way to protect American children from future Common Core-like programs is to permanently padlock the Department of Education.

Federal programs providing taxpayer funds to public schools give politicians and bureaucrats leverage to impose federal mandates on schools. So as long as federal education programs exist, school children will be used as guinea pigs for federal bureaucrats who think they are capable of creating a curriculum suitable for every child in the country.

Supporters of federal education mandates say they are necessary to hold schools “accountable.” Of course schools should be accountable, but accountable to whom?
Several studies, as well as common sense, show that greater parental control of education improves education quality. In contrast, bureaucratic control of education lowers education quality. Therefore, the key to improving education is to make schools accountable to parents, not bureaucrats.

The key to restoring parental control is giving parents control of the education dollar. If parents control the education dollar, school officials will strive to meet the parents’ demand that their children receive a quality education. If the federal government controls the education dollar, schools will bow to the demands of Congress and the Department of Education.

So if Congress was serious about improving education it would shut down the Department of Education. It would also shut down all other unconstitutional bureaucracies, end our interventionist foreign policy, and reform monetary policy so parents would have the resources to provide their children with an education that fits their children’s unique needs. Federal and state lawmakers must also repeal any laws that limit the education alternatives parents can choose for their children. The greater the options parents have and the greater the amount of control they exercise over education, the stronger the education system.

These reforms would allow more parents access to education options such as private or religious schools, and also homeschooling. It would also expand the already growing market in homeschooling curriculums. I know a great deal about the homeschooling curriculum market, as I have my own homeschooling curriculum. The Ron Paul Curriculum provides students with a rigorous program of study in history, economics, mathematics, and the physical and natural sciences. It also provides intensive writing instruction and an opportunity for students to operate their own Internet businesses. Of course, my curriculum provides students with an introduction to the ideas of liberty, including Austrian economics. However, we do not sacrifice education quality for ideological indoctrination.

It is no coincidence that as the federal role in education has increased the quality of our education system has declined. Any “reforms” to federal education programs will not fix the fundamental flaw in the centralized model of education. The only way to improve education is to shut down the Department of Education and restore control of education to those with the greatest ability and incentive to choose the type of education that best meets the needs of American children — American parents.

Is there life on Mars? Now those who believe there is life on Mars claim to have proof in the form of a set of photos from the Red Planet. Pictures, released by NASA, were taken by the Mars Curiosity Rover which is currently scouring the planet for signs of life. It shows what conspiracy theorists reckon is a 'workman' who appears to be fixing the craft. They say the shadow of a 'human-like' figure can be seen leaning over the space probe and carrying out repairs. It appears as if he is wearing a suit and and air tank, similar to those worn by human astronauts, however crucially he has no helmet. However scientists have poured cold water on the idea saying it is a figment of people's imaginations.
