EPIC ALBERTA CANADA WILDFIRE - Massive Fires, Thousands Evacuated, Total Destruction

A state of emergency has been declared in the province of Alberta in Canada after a wildfire forced all 88,000 residents of Fort McMurray to flee. Officials say the fast-moving blaze could destroy much of the city. The fire, which broke out on Sunday in the heart on the country's oil sands region, has gutted 1,600 buildings, including a new school. The evacuation was the largest-ever in Alberta. Oil companies operating in the area have been forced to cut output. Several firms have shut down some pipelines. This was done to help evacuate non-essential personnel, reports say, but oil facilities are not in the current path of the fire. So far there have been no reports of deaths or injuries, but two women gave birth in one evacuation centre, Reuters new agency reported. One lady that I met she actually was sheltered behind like an electrical box when it actually exploded and she felt a shockwave Authorities said there had been no known casualties from the blaze itself, but fatalities were reported in at least one car crash among the evacuees. Thousands bunked down in arenas, hockey rinks and oil work camps, often short of fuel and food. A huge cloud of black smoke was visible from well over 60 km (37 miles) away from the town. Traffic on the main road headed south had thinned to a trickle, however, after major jams on Tuesday when the evacuation order was given. Stretches of the highway had been converted into make-shift campgrounds by people in cars, trucks and recreation vehicles, who were fleeing the inferno. Firefighting crews have been unable to stop the wildfire, which has charred 18,500 acres (7,500 hectares) since it erupted on Sunday and exploded in ferocity. Fort McMurray itself is sealed off to all but the emergency services but it is reportedly a scene of devastation. The province declared a state of emergency for what was shaping up to be Canada's costliest natural disaster. Fort McMurray describes itself as the "gateway to the north" - a region which is home to the third largest reserves of oil in the world behind Saudi Arabia and Venezuela. It may be remote, but Fort McMurray's proximity to Canada's rich oil sands has helped it to become a hugely prosperous place, drawing oil workers from across the world. Ex-Mex President Apologizes to Trump -- Still Report

 Some stories that cross my desk just are too incredible, or too hilarious to believe at first. This is one. But keep in mind, this is emblematic of the sweeping changes just the threat of a Trump presidency is bringing to not only this nation – but the world.
Remember that little dustup only 8 weeks ago when the former President of Mexico, Vicente Fox blasted Donald Trump with vulgarity for wanting to build a wall across the U.S. southern border, and insisting that Mexico will pay for it as well?
“I’m not going to pay for that f***ing wall,” Fox said in an interview with CNN.
Trump tweeted back in reply:

“FMR PRES of Mexico, Vicente Fox horribly used the F word when discussing the wall. He must apologize! If I did that there would be a uproar!”
Fox then fired back on Twitter:

Well, President Fox, it can now be said without fear of contradiction that the vast majority of the American people have spoken. We agree with Trump, and that wall will be built.
Fast forward just 8 short weeks. Within hours of Trump being proclaimed the presumptive Republican nominee and therefore the likely next president of the United States, Vicente Fox has suddenly apologized to Trump in an exclusive Breitbart video interview.

Fox also stressed the importance of harmonious trading relations between the U.S. and Mexico.
He then invited Trump to be his guest in Mexico:
“I invite him to come to Mexico and to see what Mexico is all about.”
This could be a wonderful gesture of mutual friendship shortly after Mr. Trump takes office – perhaps one of his first international trips – a true reset in relations.
The U.S. needs Mexico to help in the fight against Islamist extremism because they are a Catholic-based society.
In any case, oh what a difference a day can make as Donald Trump is already remaking the world.
Imagine this - the world a year from now after numerous Trump resets; better relations with Russia, and with our allies in the Middle East.
Africa is begging for Trump to help them fight Islamic terror organizations. Obama has done nothing effective. Did you know that Kenya is building a 300+-mile-long wall to completely seal off their border with terror-ridden Somalia? More on this later.
Europe is praying for a Trump victory so that the U.S. can pull up alongside their fight against the European-wide invasion.
Trump has also said that he will try to reset with China, but if China chooses to go its own way, then so be it.
But don’t forget Iran, either. Simmering underneath a hard shell of radical Islamic totalitarianism is a wide and deep reservoir of pro-western sentiment among Iran’s under-35 population that has yet to be heard from. Obama had two opportunities to support student demonstrations, but turned his back. Trump will not.

Apocalyptic Wildfire In Canada : 80,000 Evacuated from Fort McMurray

 The entire population of the Canadian oil city of Fort McMurray was evacuated as firefighters battled an out-of-control wildfire that was likely to worsen Wednesday.

There were long lines on highways as 80,000 residents fled the blaze and oil sands work camps were pressed into service as emergency shelters.
"Apocalyptic" and "harrowing" scenes on social media showed vehicles facing thick smoke and raging roadside flames amid the largest evacuation in the province of Alberta's history.

"The city is under a complete mandatory evacuation order," Wood Buffalo municipality spokesman Robin Smith told NBC News early Wednesday, adding that an estimated 80,000 people had left the city.

US Private Job Market hits Slump

In the United States, job growth has hit a record slump, as last month marked its slowest pace in three years. According to the ADP National Employment Report, private American businesses only hired 156,000 people last month, the smallest gain since April 2013. Weak hiring activity across most sectors has also been affected. Meanwhile, Washington released a report showing that productivity across the country has shrunk since the beginning of the year, causing concern among economists. Last year alone, productivity rose just by 0.7 percent, marking five straight years of weak growth. Americans are growing increasingly dissatisfied with the poor state of the economy and the unemployment rate remaining at 5 percent.
