The credit crunch
The global financial crisis (GFC) or global economic crisis is commonly believed to have begun in July 2007 with the credit crunch, when a loss of confidence by US investors in the value of sub-prime mortgages caused a liquidity crisis. This, in turn, resulted in the US Federal Bank injecting a large amount of capital into financial markets. By September 2008, the crisis had worsened as stock markets around the globe crashed and became highly volatile. Consumer confidence hit rock bottom as everyone tightened their belts in fear of what could lie ahead.




The sub-prime crisis and housing bubble
The housing market in the United States suffered greatly as many home owners who had taken out sub-prime loans found they were unable to meet their mortgage repayments. As the value of homes plummeted, the borrowers found themselves with negative equity. With a large number of borrowers defaulting on loans, banks were faced with a situation where the repossessed house and land was worth less on today's market than the bank had loaned out originally. The banks had a liquidity crisis on their hands, and giving and obtaining loans became increasingly difficult as the fallout from the sub-prime lending bubble burst. This is commonly referred to as the credit crunch.

Although the housing collapse in the United States is commonly referred to as the trigger for the global financial crisis, some experts who have examined the events over the past few years, and indeed even politicians in the United States, may believe that the financial system was needed better regulation to discourage unscrupulous lending.

Governments around the world struggled to rescue giant financial institutions as the fallout from the housing and stock market collapse worsened. The U.S. government proposed a $700 billion rescue plan, which subsequently failed to pass because some members of US Congress objected to the use of such a massive amount of taxpayer money being spent to bail out Wall Street investment bankers who some people may have believed could be one of the causes of the global financial crisis.

By September and October of 2008, people began investing heavily in gold, bonds and US dollar or Euro currency as it was seen as a safer alternative to the ailing housing or stock market.

President Barack Obama said Wednesday that he was "angry" at IRS officials who inappropriately targeted conservative groups for scrutiny, announcing that his administration had sought and accepted Steven Miller resignation as interim commissioner of the IRS.
"I've reviewed the Treasury Department watchdog's report, and the misconduct that it uncovered was inexcusable," Obama said in a statement at the White House. "It's inexcusable, and Americans are right to be angry about it, and I'm angry about it."

Saying he won't tolerate this sort of behavior from an agency, especially the IRS, President Obama announces the resignation of the acting IRS commissioner, and the implementation of new measures to prevent such activity again.
The president said that he expected the IRS to act with even higher levels of integrity than other government agencies and, to that end, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew had sought and accepted Miller's resignation -- something which many Republicans had demanded.
Obama also pledged to work with Congress in its emerging investigation into the IRS controversy, pledging his administration would work "hand-in-hand with Congress" to further its oversight. But the president also cautioned lawmakers to conduct its probe "in a way that doesn't smack of politics or partisan agendas."
The president said as well that he thought the problems at the IRS were "fixable," and he directed Lew to implement the IRS inspector general's recommendations.
Obama's remarks came amid news that two IRS employees who had engaged in activities targeting conservative groups had faced disciplinary action for their conduct.
An IRS inspector general's released on Monday found that incompetence and ineffective management at the tax-collecting agency led to employees applying extra scrutiny to conservative and Tea Party advocacy groups. The report also found there was no evidence of outside pressure on officials to target conservative groups.

Democrats have largely joined their Republican colleagues in expressing outrage toward the IRS employees' actions, and Obama himself condemned the agency on Monday, calling the targeting of conservative groups "outrageous," and vowing to hold those responsible accountable.
"I'll do everything in my power to make sure that nothing like this ever happens again, by holding the responsible parties accountable, by putting in place new checks and new safeguards, and, going forward, my making sure the law is applied as it should be -- in a fair and impartial way," Obama said.

Climbing the Pointless, Ruthless, Financial Ant Heap

‘Humanity is weary, worn out from its struggle to achieve the next thing, and the next’.

There is an ant heap, but of people. This ant pile of people is all in a mad climb towards a higher place on the pile, because the further down the bottom you are the less you have. The ants climbing ahead of us keep telling us that it’s great to be climbing the pile and if we get to the top it’s the best achievement possible. So we keep climbing, and others are helping us up a bit as we go, and as we keep climbing we notice others that have fallen back, and look disillusioned and weary, but they get up and start climbing again.

The further up the pile we go we notice also that the pace and scramble seems to be getting faster and the others don’t seem to be smiling much anymore, but we keep going, climbing as fast as we can towards the success of the higher echelons of the pile.

We see some actually crash to the ground and need help psychologically, and physically from their fall from the pile, they looked empty and washed out. But we try not to notice.

As we push on towards the higher stages of the pile we notice its getting narrower towards the top, and there was more of an urgency, almost a frenzy, and some were grouping together holding others back as they pushed forwards, and there were even less signs of smiling, but worse still we started noticing that the others are being more aggressive as they get closer to the top, and seem less and less concerned about the others below them like they don’t care who falls or gets hurt by falling and slipping.

As we get closer to the top we start seeing others actually trampling on those near them and stepping on anyone else as long as they keep moving upwards, almost using other bodies as stepping stones, I saw one stamp on another’s hands sending them falling to the ground, there seems to be a callous, coldness about the ones up here and they seem to actually enjoy it when someone close by falls off, as they seem to get more of a foothold themselves. They seemed almost aloof as though they didn’t want to even touch those below them, almost like they were unclean, just stepping stones for their own progress upwards.

At last we saw the top, there were a group of others but they looked different, there was a deadness in their eyes, a look of ruthlessness as though they didn’t care about anyone except themselves, and worse still they didn’t care how many fell to their death off the pile under them as long as they were okay. In fact we were shocked to realize that they were using everyone else on and in the pile to keep their position at the top, they were robbing everyone else of their energy, actually using others as just things for them to use and nothing more. The climbers below them couldn’t get past them or near them.

Just as we could see the top of the heap where the ruthless ones were, I asked someone coming back down exhausted ‘what’s at the top’? Their answer shocked me they said ‘nothing, there’s nothing there it’s just the top of a pile with them on it’.

A strange feeling engulfed me, I felt sorry for all the climbers and fallers, but I also felt sorry for the ones at the top because there was nothing there. They had arrived at the top only to find that the happiness and peace they thought they would find by arriving there still evaded them, and though they smiled and reveled in their power of controlling the top, their eyes looked empty and sad. Revelation 1 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
Greeting the Seven Churches

4 John, to the seven churches which are in Asia:

Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.

To Him who loved us and washed[a] us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us kings[b] and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,"[c] says the Lord,[d] "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

9 I, John, both[e] your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, 11 saying, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last," and,[f] "What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia:[g] to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."

12 Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. 14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; 15 His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; 16 He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. 17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me,[h] "Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death. 19 Write[i] the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this. 20 The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw[j] are the seven churches.

Our Education System is Worthless

Education Is Useless .

The problem is that education has become a business, and businesses are concerned with profit.The schools are corporations they arent there to teach you useful information in life they are there to corporate approved data, whether its a lie or not..... welcome to bank rule its all fraud . College is a legal scam. You spend 6 years in college putting yourself in debt so you can work off that debt in a corporate job that doesn't give a crap about you for your entire life. You don't need college when you have the internet, books that cost half the price on Amazon, and the discipline to be self taught. Unless you're going to work in health care, it's not really worth it.Most employers require or provide some kind of training for their employees anyway. May as well move it up to the employer level since every corporate has their own specific needs. Judge a candidate based on their personality rather than their education since you'll need to teach them how to perform their job anyway. Send employees to private certification courses so that there can be more competition in the education industry.
