Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) waged a marathon filibuster to examine the use of unmanned aerial vehicles most of these questions remain unanswered. President Barack Obama says his targeted kill program is "Serious and not speculative," but a recent report published my McClatchy makes a whole other argument. According to the paper, the scope of the US drone program being conducted abroad is much larger than the White House claims, and it's not just high-profile targets like al-Qaeda members and their affiliates that are being killed: it's civilians and anyone else within strike.
