How Tribalism Psychology Destroyed The Human Race
Tribalism is a core part of being a human, not some relic of a reptilian past. All apes are tribal. In the past this was what helped us survive as we lived in groups as hunter-gatherers. Humans have advanced together with their groups, no individual human has achieved anything without support from a fellow human. The bad effect of tribalism is that when tribes clash, mostly for resources, it leads to a loss for humanity as a whole. On one hand being a social animal has helped us go from being tree dwellers to building skyskrapers, on the other hand it leads to wars against fellow humans.

The root cause won’t be the specific catastrophe, conflict or devastation that eradicates us; the problem will begin with the architecture of the human brain....”
